CALGARY, AB, CANADA, August 31, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Woodland Rebels from Beak Berry Games is going to be part of the PvE Survival Fest on Steam. For the occasion, a free content update will be released for the demo. Content creators are invited to livestream the game during the event.
Woodland Rebels is a 2D survival game with town management elements. Players can select their animal species, meet with other NPC villagers, make alliances (and enemies), and unite the animals under their banner to face human invaders. It is a survival game where the player controls a main character, but with a strong focus on building a community to survive as opposed to surviving alone.
PvE Survival Crafting Fest on Steam
Woodland Rebels is going to be part of this Steam event, which runs from August 31 to September 7.

Demo Content Update
A demo was released on Steam on August 20. The very first content update for this demo is releasing today. Update 0.04 introduces 15 new craftable items, 7 new town quests, 7 new skills, 4 new enemies, and an outlaw behavior rework, as well as bug fixes and adjustment based on the feedback from players.
What’s Next?
After the PvE Survival Crafting fest, the team will start looking at some of the features people have been asking for the most. For example a translation system to add more languages, better support for Steam Deck, and in the longer term start exploring co-op and other scenarios.
The next content update will most likely be timed with the next Steam event in October. But in the meantime there will be plenty of bug fix updates if needed.
